A performance, in frame
A video for Gianna Alamanou's performance “Witches” at Roes Theatre in Gazi. Three performers, masks, smoke and light cutting through the darkness of the stage.
Hands that multiply in the smoke, a gaze behind the mask and a red apple that becomes a symbol. A dark, magical and very contemporary performance that moves from the stage to the screen without losing any of its intensity.
Cinematography by Vaggelis Tsagarakis, with lighting design by Lia Michali and sound design by Sokratis Seirlis.
